When things go wrong,as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile,but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest,if you must --- but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up,though the pace seems low ---
You might succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup.
And he learned too late,when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is the failure turned inside out ---
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt ---
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you are hardest hit ---
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.
Success is a state of mind.

谢谢,已经看懂,而且觉得英文写的诗也只能按英文去读,翻译过来要考虑压韵甚麽的，会失色的.不同语言的作品翻译过程中都会丧失神韵.

偶对诗没有研究，英文的话还有一点点发言权，赫赫。可以提意见吗？"Dont be quit", I dont think there is such a saying in english, do you mean Dont quit? :) I bet it must be a typo....

呵呵，agness,你在E国又怎么了？还是兰亭给我说了句公道话。麻烦扬帆给改过来吧...
嗨！没办法呀，自己不象float在米国，又不象agness在E国，毕竟在中国的生活节奏要
快得多，于是经常在生活的压力和生命的尊严之间徘徊。在外企，嫌高层99%都是鬼佬，
在国企，嫌不尊重个人，所以只有大笔一挥写写这样的东西来聊以自慰，呵呵。
当我遇到不顺的时候总喜欢去肯得基，吃完汉堡就凝视着汉堡盒子后面的一个人的名字——桑得斯少校，就是那个白发苍苍的肯得基的创始人,凝视着他所蕴涵的精神。当年

哇噻，这里各个是E文高手，尤其是BINLATEN，还能写那么棒的英文诗歌，羡慕啊^_^.
想起了自己，从前也曾试着写英文诗，后来自己也觉得实在写不出韵味来，就再也不敢尝试了。
至于笔误，那是正常的啦，本人不但常E文笔误，中文也常笔误呢。

我在M国也没有用啊! 还得用金山词霸才能认识每个词....更别说用它写诗la....呵呵,不过我是用中文也写不出来,在这里是灌一个字.
